Teaching Opportunities in China
Now that you have watched the amazing display of the Bejing Olympics, why not discover the country for yourself? There are 50 other cities where you could teach English as well. Those who teach English in China have the chance to teach a wide range of students. Adult students are typically professionals over the age of 22 and young learners range from 6-18 years old. Classes are taught in state-of-the-art language schools with language labs and student-and-teacher lounges, all in a comfortable and welcoming learning environment. You will receive initial training, as well as guidance, structured feedback, and performance appraisals throughout your contract. The standard package also includes help and support throughout the year, whether that is practical advice on living in the country, being part of a network of other professional teachers, or help with traveling within a country where you can experience 5,000 years of history!
